Gift Vouchers Overview

Gift vouchers are a valuable tool to incentivize customers and boost sales by offering redeemable credits for future purchases. With gift vouchers, you can customize their types, values, and appearance while ensuring a seamless redemption process.

Gift Voucher Sections

In the Gift Vouchers section, you will find multiple tabs to manage all aspects of your gift voucher offerings:

  1. Purchases/Codes
  2. Voucher Types
  3. General Settings
  4. Email Settings
  5. PDF Voucher

Managing Purchases/Codes

This tab displays all issued voucher codes and their details. Each voucher is represented by a card showing:

  • Name/Code: The name or unique code of the voucher.
  • Status: Toggle the voucher to activate or deactivate.

  • Details: Total value, used amount, and remaining balance.


Actions:
  • Manage
  • Duplicate
  • Print
  • Send via email
  • Delete

Quick Tip: Use the search bar to quickly locate a specific code or filter by status for easier navigation.

Managing Voucher Types

Voucher types define the templates for creating gift vouchers that customers can purchase.

Details per Voucher Type:

  • The voucher’s title and total value.
  • Last updated date and creator information.
  • Purchase and usage statistics (e.g., total sales, total redemptions, total purchases).

Options Available:

  • Manage voucher type
  • Duplicate voucher type
  • Delete voucher type

Customizing General Settings

The General Settings tab allows you to set the foundational details of your gift vouchers.

  • Title and Descriptions: Add a short and long description to provide more details about the voucher.
  • Featured Image: Upload an image that represents the voucher.
  • Expiry Settings: Decide if the voucher should have an expiry date.
    • Options include no expiry or setting a specific duration.

  • Additional Options: Allow customers to include personalized messages for their vouchers.

Configuring Email Settings

In the Email Settings tab, you can create customized email content for voucher confirmations and redemption.

Content Customization:

  • Add an email title and main content.
  • Insert redemption instructions or additional details.

Gift Forwarding: Enable customers to forward vouchers to friends and family via email.

Designing PDF Vouchers

The PDF Voucher tab lets you design and customize downloadable PDF versions of your gift vouchers.


Apply PDF vouchers:

  • Toggle the switch to activate PDF attachments for all gift voucher purchases.

Appearance Customization:

  • Select between: Main Logo, Light Logo, or No Logo

  • Add a background image and choose font colors.

Default Message: Customize the text that appears on the voucher.

Additional Settings: Choose to hide or display the voucher code, expiry date, or redemption instructions.

Creating a New Gift Voucher

1. Navigate to the Gift Vouchers section under Inventory.

2. Click the blue + button in the top-right corner.

3. Select whether to create a Purchase Code or a new Voucher Type (on the Voucher Type Page).

4. Follow the setup process by completing the required details across all relevant tabs.

Managing Existing Gift Vouchers

1. Select a voucher from the Purchases/Codes or Voucher Types tabs.

2. Click the settings icon to view management options.

3. Edit details, send emails, or duplicate the voucher as needed.
