Reports Module: Transactional, Inventory, and Miscellaneous

The Reports Module provides a comprehensive suite of tools to monitor and analyze your venue’s performance. It consists of three primary sections: Transactional, Inventory, and Miscellaneous. Each section offers both Overview and Detailed tabs for precise data insights, helping you track sales, bookings, payments, and more.

 

Transactional Reports

The Transactional Reports section allows you to monitor the core financial activities of your venue:

  • Sales: View transaction stats, such as total revenue, fees, paid/unpaid amounts, and transactions by channel, status, or payment method. You can toggle between Charts and Lists views in the Overview tab to suit your analysis preferences. The Type filter allows you to choose between All Transactions, Itemized Sales, or Itemized Revenue for focused reporting.
  • Bookings: Analyze bookings by status (e.g., completed, no-shows, canceled) or by visitor count and inventory type. The Detailed tab provides transaction-level data, which you can filter by period, type, or date.
  • Payments: Track payments by channel (e.g., online, manual) and method (e.g., credit card, cash). The Overview tab includes visualizations for quick insights, while the Detailed tab allows you to filter and export payment data for deeper analysis.

Inventory Reports

The Inventory Reports section focuses on monitoring the performance of your venue’s inventory:

  • Items: View item stats such as sales, bookings, and guests. The Overview tab provides visual representations (e.g., sales by item) for quick insights, while the Detailed tab allows for exportable, transaction-specific data.
  • Extras: Track additional purchases, such as merchandise or add-ons, across bookings and POS transactions. Filter by transaction status or specific extras to analyze sales trends.
  • Gift Vouchers: Monitor the performance of gift vouchers, including total purchases, redemptions, and remaining value. Use the Overview tab for summary insights and the Detailed tab for in-depth tracking.

Miscellaneous Reports

The Miscellaneous Reports section covers additional performance metrics:

  • Guests: Analyze guest data, including new and returning customers, participants checked-in, and waivers signed. Use filters to refine data by type or booked items.
  • Capacity: Track available and booked time slots, guest counts, and inventory utilization. The Overview tab provides daily trends and capacity distribution by items, while the Detailed tab gives granular slot-based data.
  • Discounts: View redeemed discount codes, custom discounts, and group discounts. Filter by discount type or transaction status for precise reporting.
  • Cart Abandonment: Monitor abandoned carts, including total potential sales lost and converted transactions. Use this data to improve customer follow-ups and optimize the booking process.

 

General Features Across Reports

  • Overview Tab: Provides high-level visual insights, including charts and summaries for quick interpretation.
  • Detailed Tab: Displays transaction-level data, which can be filtered, customized, and exported in CSV or Excel formats for deeper analysis.
  • Filters: Common filters include time period, transaction type, booking status, and payment methods, allowing you to drill down into specific data sets.
  • Export Functionality: All Detailed tabs allow data export, enabling you to perform further analysis outside the platform.

 

By leveraging the Reports Module, you can make data-driven decisions to optimize operations, enhance the guest experience, and drive revenue growth across your venue.
