Managing Customer Accounts
The Customer Accounts section in Resova allows you to manage settings related to rescheduling, cancellations, and additional account preferences. This guide will help you configure each of these options effectively.
1. Rescheduling/Updating Settings
Configure Rescheduling Options:
- Toggle Customers can reschedule/update bookings from their customer account to enable this feature.
- Set the time frame for rescheduling by selecting how many minutes/hours/days/weeks/months before the event customers can modify their bookings.
Display Rescheduling Content:
- Toggle options to include this information:
- In the Terms and Conditions (if active).
- On the Confirmation Page of your booking site.
- In Confirmation Emails sent to customers.
Customize Rescheduling Content:
- Add content to communicate your policy clearly:
- Title: Enter a clear title, such as “Our Policy on Rescheduling/Updating Bookings.”
- Content: Use the editor to provide details about your rescheduling policy.
Save Changes:
Click Save & Update to apply your settings.
2. Cancellation Settings
Configure Cancellation Options:
- Toggle Customers can cancel bookings from their customer account to enable this feature.
- Specify the time frame for cancellations by selecting how many weeks/days/hours before the event cancellations are permitted.
Customize Cancellation Content:
- Add details about your cancellation policy:
- Title: Use a clear heading, such as “Our Policy on Canceling Bookings.”
- Content: Use the editor to include specific terms and conditions.
Display Cancellation Content:
- Toggle options to include this policy:
- In the Terms and Conditions (if active).
- On the Confirmation Page of your booking site.
- In Confirmation Emails sent to customers.
Save Changes:
Click Save & Update to save your cancellation settings.
3. Additional Settings
Configure Password Settings:
- Toggle Customers can choose to not create an account with a password when checking out as a guest to allow for guest bookings.
- Note: Disabling this option may increase abandoned carts due to a longer booking process.
Save Changes:
Click Save & Update to apply your settings.
