How to Configure Team Assign Settings in Resova
The Team Assign Settings in Resova allow you to manage how staff resources are automatically assigned to bookings. This ensures that your resources are utilized effectively while providing a seamless customer booking experience. Here’s how to set it up:
Steps to Configure Team Assign Settings
1. Access Team Assign Settings
Navigate to General Settings, and select Team Assign Settings under the Team Settings section.
2. Understand Staff Resources Assignment
This section manages how resources are assigned to bookings. When staff resources are unavailable or already assigned, time slots for selected items will automatically be blocked to avoid double-booking.
Note: Customers cannot manually select a staff resource for shared time slots if an existing booking already occupies that slot.
3. Choose Automatic Assign Rules
Under the Automatic Assign dropdown, select one of the following options based on your business preferences:
- Automatically assign staff resources by the least used resource in the past 24 hours: Ensures equal distribution of bookings among your staff.
- Automatically assign staff resources in alphabetical order: Assigns staff members in the order of their names.
- Randomly assign staff resources: Randomly selects a staff resource for each booking.
The selected option will apply automatically when a booking is made.
4. Save Your Changes
Once you’ve selected the desired rule, click the Save & Update button to apply the changes.
