Guest Cart Visibility 

This feature ensures that guests can see a full, itemized summary of their purchase—including taxes, fees, and discounts—on a customer-facing screen before payment. Staff will be able to present the cart via a “Present to Guest” button that is clicked before checkout is allowed.

 

A mandatory “Present to Guest” button has been added to all POS and transaction screens. This ensures guests are shown the final basket summary, including:

  • Items, extras, and gift vouchers

  • Taxes and fees (itemized)

  • Discounts or gift cards applied

  • Total price before payment

🔒 The checkout button will be locked until this step is completed.

💡 How It Works

  1. Staff adds items to the basket.

  2. Click the “Present to Guest” button.

  3. A second tab opens showing the cart summary.

  4. This screen must be moved to a customer-facing monitor or device.

  5. Checkout is unlocked only after the guest has seen the summary.

Changes to the basket after this step will re-lock checkout until it's presented again.

General Settings → Payment Settings → POS Section

Here, you can:

  • Enable/disable compliance mode

  • Upload branded idle screen images (PNG, JPG, SVG under 2MB)

  • Set guest confirmation and timeout rules
