General Email Settings
Resova allows you to configure email settings for sending messages to customers and managing email marketing preferences.
From Email Address
You can send emails to guests from your own email address to ensure brand consistency.
- Default: Emails are sent from noreply@resova.com.
- Custom Email:
- Enter your preferred email address in the From Email Address field.
- Click Verify to authenticate the email.
Note: To ensure 100% deliverability and avoid emails going to spam, your domain name must be verified to allow Resova to send emails on your behalf. Please refer to Sending Emails to Guests from a Custom Email Address for steps on verifying your custom domain email.
Consent Settings
Manage customer opt-in preferences for marketing emails.
1. Checkbox Label
- Customize the text displayed for the email opt-in checkbox.
- Example: “Subscribe to receive emails from us with the latest promotions and to provide us feedback on your experience.”
2. Options for Customer Opt-In
- Follow-up Emails: Enable customers to opt-in to receive follow-up emails sent after their experience.
- Review Requests: Allow customers to opt-in to receive customer review request emails.
3. Checkbox Selection
- Choose whether the checkbox is automatically selected by default.
- Not Recommended: Automatically selecting the checkbox may violate GDPR compliance and can impact customer trust.
Note: Opting in to marketing emails does not affect transactional or service emails sent by Resova.
GDPR Compliance
If you provide services to EU customers and collect data, single opt-in must be activated to comply with GDPR regulations.
Save Your Changes
After configuring your settings, click Save & Update to apply the changes.
