Exporting Reports
Resova’s reporting system allows you to export data efficiently for analysis or record-keeping. Export functionality is available across all report types, including transactions, inventory, and miscellaneous categories. However, exports are limited to a maximum of six months per file, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
Steps to Export Reports:
1. Access the Desired Report:
- Navigate to the specific report you wish to export (e.g., Sales, Bookings, Items, etc.) within the Reports module.
- Select the 'Detailed' Tab
2. Customize Columns:
- Click the Columns button to tailor your export by selecting or deselecting the fields you need.
- Options include fields such as IDs, dates, statuses, booking details, inventory types, and payment methods, among others.
3. Apply Filters:
- Use the available filters to refine your data export:
- Date Range: Set a timeframe of up to six months.
- Type: Filter data by specific categories such as All Transactions, Itemized Sales, or Itemized Revenue to tailor your analysis.

4. Export the Data:
- Click the Export button at the top-right of the report view.
- Choose your preferred format:
- CSV (Comma-Separated Values): Ideal for use in spreadsheet tools or for data integration.
- Excel (.xlsx): Suitable for more detailed analysis in Excel or compatible applications.
5. Download and Save:
- Once the export is complete, the file will download automatically. You can save it locally for analysis or sharing with team members.
Important Considerations:
- 6-Month Export Limit: If your data exceeds six months, break your export into smaller timeframes to ensure all data is captured.
- Filters Save Time: Applying specific filters before exporting reduces the need for manual sorting in the exported file.
- Review Fields: Verify your selected columns and filters to avoid exporting irrelevant data.
