Customer Reviews: Managing and Collecting Feedback
Customer reviews are a vital tool for showcasing customer satisfaction, improving your services, and building trust with potential clients. This guide covers how to manage reviews, create custom reviews, and configure email settings to request feedback automatically.
Viewing and Managing Customer Reviews
- Viewing Reviews: Access all submitted reviews via the Customer Reviews section under Marketing. Reviews are listed with their customer rating, name, and the date of submission.
- Sorting Reviews: Use filters to organize reviews by:
- Sort by Latest
- Rating: Filter by star ratings.
- Status: Display all, active, or inactive reviews.
- Managing Reviews:
- Edit or Delete Reviews: Click the gear icon next to a review to modify or remove it.
- Activate/Deactivate: Toggle the status to manage whether a review is visible on your booking site.
Creating Custom Reviews
To create a custom review for your site:
1. Click Create Review at the bottom of the review list.
2. Enter the following details:
- Customer Rating: Select the appropriate star rating.
- Customer Name: Add the name of the customer (real or placeholder).
- Assign Item: Choose the relevant product or service.
- Review Content: Write the review text.
3. Save the review, which will be added to your list and can be displayed on your booking page.
Displaying Reviews on Your Booking Site
- Show Reviews: Enable the option to display customer reviews on the information pages of items.
- Automatic Approval: If desired, you can set reviews to be automatically approved and published. However, this is not recommended for maintaining quality control.
Configuring Email Settings for Reviews
Automating the review request process ensures consistent feedback collection. Set up email settings in the Settings tab of the Customer Reviews section.
1. Email Content:
- Subject: Define a subject line, e.g., “Review Your Experience with [Business Name].”
- Title: Create a title for the email, such as “Share Your Feedback.”
- Content: Add a message inviting the customer to leave a review, using dynamic variables if needed.
2. Timing Options:
- Schedule emails to be sent a specific time after the event:
- Hours, days, weeks, or months after the booking.
3. Additional Options:
- Enable review emails for all participants in a booking if their email addresses are captured.
