Connecting Zoom to Resova

Integrate Zoom with Resova to host online events with the world’s most popular video conferencing services, automated to provide customers with unique meeting links protected with passwords for their upcoming events.

Note: You must create an account with Zoom to connect with Resova. Sign up for a free account here.

Installing Zoom

To integrate Zoom, select "Integrations" from the main menu and then "Productivity" from the settings menu.

Click "Zoom".


Select the "Connect" button in the top right-hand corner in the modal that has shown. Once redirected to the Zoom site, please enter your login credentials and follow the steps to finalise the integration with Resova and Zoom.

 

Assigning events that are hosted with Zoom

To select which events host online Zoom events from the items page, hover over the item you would like to manage and select the "Manage Item" button. Click "Location" in the settings menu on the left. Hover over the Zoom option and click the "Select Location" button.
The event will now be hosted online with Zoom.

How customers can attend online events hosted via Zoom

Customers and Team Members will be provided with the following details when events that are hosted online with Zoom are booked:

  • Button/Links to launch the Zoom meeting
  • Unique meeting ID to the Zoom event
  • Password to access the Zoom event

The above information will be provided in confirmation/notification emails sent to customers and team members, and also included in the transaction/booking overviews for team members to quickly access.

 

Cancelling and rescheduling bookings will automatically update in Zoom.

Deactivating Zoom in Resova

To deactivate Zoom, from the Zoom settings in the integrations section, select the "Status" in the top right-hand corner and from the dropdown menu select "Deactivate Integration".

 

Unistalling the Resova Add-on in Zoom

To deactivate the Resova Add-on from within Zoom:

  • Login to your Zoom account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
  • Click Manage > Installed apps or search for the Resova app
  • Click the Resova App
  • Click Uninstall
