Configuring Team Calendar Settings

The Team Calendar Settings in Resova allow you to customize and optimize the calendar view and functionality for your team, ensuring seamless operation and efficient scheduling. Below is a detailed guide to configuring these settings.


Accessing Team Calendar Settings

To access and configure your Team Calendar Settings:

  1. Navigate to the Team Calendar by selecting the Calendar icon from the main navigation menu on the left-hand side.
  2. At the top of the calendar interface, click on the Modes dropdown menu.
  3. Select Team Calendar Settings from the dropdown options under the “Misc” section.
  4. A modal will appear with all the configuration options for the Team Calendar.

Once in the settings, you can adjust various aspects of the calendar, including modes, durations, and time slot colors, to suit your team’s workflow.



General Settings

  • Automatically open calendar on log in
    • Enable this option to ensure that the team calendar is the first screen displayed when team members log in.
  • Automatically mark bookings as ‘checked-in’ at the time of the event
    • Toggle this to automate the check-in process for bookings.

Modes & Durations

Customize default modes and durations for both desktop and mobile calendars:

Calendar View (Desktop/Mobile)

Select from views like:

  • Last viewed (default)
  • Daily Calendar
  • Weekly Calendar
  • Monthly Calendar
  • Daily Agenda
  • Weekly Agenda

Lock columns for individual scrolling on ‘Calendar Agenda’ view

  • This option restricts column scrolling in the Agenda view.

Combine all items on agenda (mobile and weekly view)

  • Enable this to merge all items in mobile and weekly calendar views for better visibility.

Dates and Times

Control default dates and time views for the team calendar:

Date

Options include:

  • Last date viewed (default)
  • Today
  • Tomorrow

Times

Choose between:

  • All day (default)
  • Custom times

Time Slot Settings

Manage the appearance of time slots in the calendar by configuring text and background colors:

  • Available Text/Background Colors
    • Set colors for available slots (e.g., Dark Gray text, White background).
  • All Other Text
    • Customize the default text color for other areas.
  • Checked-In Background
    • Choose a distinct color (e.g., Dark Green) for checked-in bookings.
  • Upcoming, No-Shows, and Blocked Slots Background Colors
    • Define background colors for upcoming bookings, no-shows (e.g., Orange), and blocked slots (e.g., Red).
  • All in Basket Background Color
    • Assign a color for slots in the booking basket (e.g., Red).
  • Update time slot colors for partially blocked spaces
    • Enable this to refine colors for partially blocked slots.

Saving Changes

Once all settings are configured to your preferences, click Save & Update to apply the changes.
