Managing Terms and Conditions for Your Booking Site

The Terms and Conditions section allows you to define your business’s rules and ensure customers acknowledge them before completing their booking.

1. Configuring the Terms and Conditions Checkbox

The Terms and Conditions Checkbox ensures that customers confirm their agreement before proceeding with their booking.

 

Steps to Configure:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Booking Site Settings > Terms & Conditions.
  2. In the Checkbox Label section:
  • Customize the message displayed to customers.
    • Example: Please confirm that you agree to our terms and conditions to complete your booking.
  • A “view terms” link is automatically appended, allowing customers to access your full terms and conditions.

 

Activating or Deactivating the Checkbox:

  • Active: Customers must agree to the terms to proceed with the booking.
  • Deactivate: Makes the checkbox optional.

 

To update the status:

  1. Use the Status dropdown in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Active or Deactivate.


2. Adding Terms and Conditions Content

In the Content section:

  • Enter your terms and conditions in the text editor.
  • Use the formatting options (Bold, Italics, Lists, Links) to enhance readability and clarity.

3. Saving and Publishing Updates

1. After configuring the checkbox and adding your terms:

  • •Click Save & Update to apply changes.

2. Test your booking site to ensure the terms are displayed properly, and the checkbox functions as expected.

By organizing your terms and conditions with a confirmation checkbox, you set clear expectations for customers while protecting your business with transparency.
